Make an event page

For a big night, build a full landing page to sell it — hero, what to expect, schedule, speakers, RSVP. This is the page you share everywhere.

1

Gather what you've got

A banner image, the date/venue, your RSVP (Luma) link, and any speakers or schedule. Don't have a banner? Make one with an image generator like gpt-image-2 or Nano Banana 2, then drop it in your event folder.

2

Ask for the page

Start from the example event page so you're not staring at a blank file.

Say something like

“Copy the example event page to events/july-hackathon and build it for our July Hackathon: big hero with banner.jpg, a ‘what to expect’ row, the schedule (6–9pm), three speaker cards, and an RSVP button to luma.com/july-hack.”

A full event landing page — hero with banner, title, and co-hosts
The kind of full event page you can build — this one's a real Lunatechs event.
3

Point your homepage at it

So the event card on your homepage opens this page:

Then say

“Make the July Hackathon card on my homepage link to this event page.”

4

Preview & publish

Preview, polish, publish. Share the link far and wide — it's live worldwide on our CDN.

You've got a proper event landing page — the kind that makes a night feel like a Big Deal.
Video? Embed it from YouTube — don't upload video files to the site. (Mainland-China events: also keep a backup link; see the website overview.)
